True to their word, Taza Lebanese Grill in Woodmere, Ohio holds true to its namesake. Taza means "fresh." Dave and I started with a glass of imported Lebanese wine-Blanc de Blancs, a mix of Chardonnay, Semillion and Sauvignon. Immediately, we were served fresh pita bread with some olive oil and spices.

Our entrees included Fatteh with Chicken-a dish with Chickpeas and hummus over a bed of pita chips sprinkled with pine nuts and seasoned olive oil, and Dave tried the Samakeh Seana-Ahi Tuna crusted with five-spice and a pesto sauce over a bed of couscous. For dessert we tried their Baklava. The dessert came as two lady fingers, small... but just right for the end of a meal. It had an interesting spin from regular baklava--there was an outside crust that had been hardened with a mystery substance. Again, delicious.

Our server, Reem E was EXCELLENT. We suggest that anyone who go there request her as a server. The food was delicious. As we left, we asked to take the leftover pita bread and instead, Reem actually packed us fresh Pita Bread instead.
As an interesting side note, as we were eating, a busload of people pulled in.
Apparently, Jews for Jesus are self proclaimed Jews by birthright, but believe in Christianity.
For an appetizer, we tried the Shawarma-A lamb dish with onions, fresh tomatoes, and a tahini dip.
On a scale of 1 (poor) to 5 (fantastic) this place scores a 5. The atmosphere was wonderful. It was lowkey and beautiful, indoor and out. Their bathrooms were clean, and service and food excellent. The only issue was the price. We cashed out at 74.73 with a 15 dollar tip. Without the wine, we would have paid 25.00 less. We would refer as many people as possible there.
